about

Compiled in the summer of 1998 from an original motif, a motif by Chris Weiz, and a melodic idea by Conrad Holloman (both middle school colleagues). Not really stupid, Chris's melody is essentially what holds this composition together. The melody is perfect in this context. Unlike some of my other synthesizer works, this song begins with a set of instruments and uses only these instruments throughout. I was able to work around this restriction in creating contrasting textures with just the few instruments.
