about

Instrumentation: sequenced piano (it was too hard for me to play). Entered in the 1993-94 PTA Reflections Contest (3rd grade) under the title, "A Gift to the World," the song is a presentation of a single melodic idea with minimal accompaniment However, for the first time technical ability presented a problem. A sequencer was necessary for the performance. It was at this point that I began to use a small music studio for my compositions. Several years later, not happy with the melody in this form, I used it in a larger song, "Poppa Jox."
