about

Instrumentation: synthesizer marimba. This little diddy may have been my very first complete original composition. I cannot be certain because it is difficult to remember that far back. The piece as easy to play with just the black keys of a piano. Somehow it has not evolved or mutated over the years. Part of it bears a (striking) resemblance to a portion of the main theme used in Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition," but I came up with it before he did.
